We’re On a Mission
At the Tennessee Pregnancy Center Network (TNPCN), our mission is clear and unwavering: to equip pregnancy centers across Tennessee with the resources, support, and tools they need to reach women, save lives, and foster a culture of life.
We believe that every life is precious, and every woman deserves compassionate care, accurate information, and real support when facing an unexpected pregnancy. Our role is to stand behind the pregnancy centers that serve on the front lines, ensuring they have everything necessary to provide hope, help, and life-affirming choices to the women and families who need it most.
How We Support Pregnancy Centers
The Tennessee Pregnancy Center Network exists to empower local pregnancy centers by:
Providing Resources
We supply centers with educational materials, and administrative tools to enhance their services.
Offering Training
Through workshops, conferences, and ongoing professional development, we ensure that staff and volunteers are well-equipped to offer compassionate, informed care.
Advocacy and Awareness
We advocate for life-affirming legislation and raise public awareness about the critical work pregnancy centers do in our communities.
Fostering Connections
By creating a network of like-minded organizations, we encourage collaboration, resource sharing, and mutual support among centers across Tennessee.
Why Our Mission Matters
Every day, pregnancy centers across Tennessee encounter women facing difficult decisions, often feeling alone and overwhelmed. By equipping these centers with the resources and support they need, we help ensure that no woman has to face an unexpected pregnancy without knowing she has options, support, and hope.
At TNPCN, we are dedicated to building a stronger, more connected network of pregnancy centers so that together, we can make a greater impact—reaching more women, saving more lives, and strengthening families throughout Tennessee.
Impact
The impact of the work we are privileged to do at Pregnancy Centers is immense. Every day, we meet individuals in some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives—uncertain, overwhelmed, and searching for hope. And every day we offer them compassion, guidance, and the assurance that they are not alone. This work matters deeply. It matters to the mother who chose life for her baby because she felt seen and supported. It matters to the father who found the courage to step into his role with confidence. It matters to every child born into the love and care their parents discovered through your ministry. And it matters to a world desperately in need of the hope and healing we can only find through Christ.
According to the 2022 TN State Impact Report provided by the Charlotte Lozier Institute, the total estimated materials and services provided by pregnancy centers in Tennessee is valued at $7,153,376. This includes services for 65,015 women, men, and youth, and 82,004 in-person and virtual client sessions.
Statement of Purpose
The Tennessee Pregnancy Center Network (TNPCN), Inc is a statewide network of pregnancy support organizations. As a private non-profit 501(c)(6) corporation, TNPCN provides advocacy and educational support for member organizations, enabling and assisting them in their mission to support pregnant women and their families in need in Tennessee.
The network currently consists of approximately 34 Tennessee pregnancy resource organizations providing direct services to pregnant women and their families. These services are provided at brick-and-mortar locations and may include peer-counseling pregnancy decision coaching, referrals, prenatal and parenting education, material support, and ongoing support to help meet the emotional and physical needs of pregnant women and assist them and their families in preparing to parent their baby or place their baby for adoption. Members may also provide post-abortion counseling and education.
In addition to pregnancy counseling services, education, and material support, many of our members also provide limited medical services under the direction of a Medical Director and are free of charge for qualified individuals*. The exams can vary, but may include pregnancy testing, limited obstetrical ultrasound, well woman annual exams, abortion pill reversal treatment, fertility education and instruction, and sexual risk counseling by trained nurses or other duly certified providers. Some member organizations also provide sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing, treatment and prevention education.
Members may also provide Sexual Risk Avoidance (SRA) education in public and private schools in accordance with State standards.
*Qualified individuals may be determined by insurance status and/or ability to pay. It is understood that many clinics provide all services free of charge. Some medical clinics accept Medicaid and private insurance for those who carry that coverage.
